The Mumby's Carers

At Mumby’s the Carers are the heart of the business and many have been with us since the formation in 2003.

We are an ‘International family’ with over 80 compassionate and fully trained live-in carers, from across the world each with a desire to make their client feel safe and comfortable in their own home and specifically selected to match the requirements of an individual clients, throughout Avon, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and London.

Mumby’s offer a full range of Carer services providing both full live-in Carers as well as Domiciliary Carers offering hourly or longer pop-in visits as required. Our Carers are available whenever, and for however long, you need them.

Every Carer is personally interviewed and assessed as to their experience and skills by a trained interviewer. At least two verbal and written references taken up which are fully investigated, where appropriate we thoroughly check immigration papers and every Carer is Criminal Records Bureau screened – see Vetting and Certification. All our carers undertake intense four days’ training including induction training before placement with any client and all Carers receive continued assessment and are encouraged to continually develop their skills and specialisms ongoing training throughout the years – see training.

To demonstrate our commitment to our customers, every Carer is given a full pack of vital items including, protective clothing, gloves, aprons, hand gel and First Aid kits, we even supply circuit breakers in case of electrical problems in the home.

At Mumbys we recognise how important and reassuring it is for our customers to be able to communicate with their family. Therefore, we are the only company to provide all live-in Carers with a laptop, and give training on Skype, to ensure that their customers can keep in touch with their loved ones at any time, wherever they may be..
