Our Services - Palliative Care at Home

Our aim is improving the quality of life of individuals, carers and families of those suffering life-limiting or terminal illnesses. Our staff members are committed to a philosophy of providing the highest standard of service and care to all patients.

We aim to be considerate, courteous and respectful to our patients and their loved ones. Our palliative care service is provided to people of all ages who have a life limiting illness, with little or no prospect of cure, and for whom the primary treatment goal is quality of life.

The focus is not on curing people but on treating their symptoms by making them comfortable, by controlling their pain and by helping them to make changes that will make their life easier.

We aim to make the person feel in control of their treatment and their quality of life. This means involving family and friends, recognising that they too may need help in coping with the illness of someone they love. Mumby’s offer our palliative care services throughout Avon, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Warwickshire, Wiltshire and London.

To discuss and assess your needs, we offer a FREE home visit.
